Understanding. . .

Understanding that sometimes you can't always get things your way. Understanding that daddy or mommy won't be able to do certain things with you. Understanding that sometimes they will have to go away, and may or may not be back but you have to understand and pray that they will always come back to you no matter even if they are gone. Understanding is a big part of being in a military life.

Family. . .

Being in a military family is hard because not everything will go your way. There are a lot of struggles and arguments, and you have to be able to trust your partner no matter what. However, no matter what is going on in the house there will always be a happy family in the end even if it doesn't work out, because you have a father and a mother who loves you dearly and will do anything for you and you have to love no them no matter the mistakes that they have caused. No matter how torn the family became. Family is very big for me, I will do anything for my family, and I will love them til the end. . . <3

True Friends. . .

I know as i was growing up I would think that every friend would be a true friend. But i had a lot to learn because after a while i started loosing more and more friends as i moved or started changing my "personality." However, as you get to meet new people and you start to talk to some old friends you realize that you only have a few REAL FRIENDS because those are the ones the that will try to keep in touch, will tell you everything be the friend that they were to you when you were with them in person. No mater how much each of you have changed, you alway seem to always find a way to go back to each other. and for that i am grateful to have amazing friends that will always be there for me, as i will be there for them.

Always

Always on the GO. . .

When being in a Military Family you usually get use to moving and saying goodbye to those that you have gotten to know more then just your friends. However, even though you are use to it, it will never be easy, because you have adapted a lifestyle to seeing them everyday, a certain routine. When someone breaks that routine you end up having that empty feeling inside, and you start to miss everything that was. But here is the cats h about being in the military you have more then just one memory. You have different memories throughout the different places that you have been to. and for the rest of your life you will always want to go there and just revisit what was.

Always,

Young Girl. . .

Sometimes when I was a little girl I would always think about how i would be as I got older. Do you know what I came up with? The opposite of who i am now. I told myself I would never be that girl that dresses like she knows it all, or the girl that does her makeup always, the girl in heels, the girl with the pretty face. But you see i realized within time that i can be all those things but still be me. I mean I am not snotty, I am actually very shy, but I feel confident in what i wear and how i dress. Understanding that not all kids that were raised in the military are awkward and think they know it all. Some or a lot of them are actually normal.
I never knew that traveling the world would make me the young woman I am today. I am thankful and proud to be raised in a military atmosphere. I hope I will be able to give or show my kids the life experiences that I had to them.

Growing up. . . .

Being raised in a military family, means seeing the world in a different perspective, understanding certain things that most people wont. Acting in a way that makes you as an individual seem like an outcast, however, being able to present yourself in a mature manner your whole life, knowing what to say or even how to act is what makes military life fun but yet difficult. I say that because. its fun in a way that you get to travel a lot, but its difficult because not everyone will underestand you where ever you go. Thats why, I am the way I am because I have been raised in a military atmosphere, and have seen how other cultures live their lives, so I bounced my life off from what I have seem throughout my 19 almost 20 years of being in a Military Family. . . .

Loved Ones. . . .

When you are raised in a military family,  you have to understand that you wont see your loved ones for a very long time or maybe even your whole life, but when you get the chance to go see them you are happier then ever, you want to spend as much times as you can with them. You want to soak up every bit of what will end up becomming memories as you can. Being so far away from your loved ones, you always end up praying that no harm will ever touch them, that you wont loose a loved one without seeing them for one last time. However, that doesn;t always happen. . .  sometimes you don't have a chance to say goodbye. When you loose someone who meant so much not only to you but to your whole family, it hurts, all you feel is pain, and no matter what, you will always feel that pain of sadness, because you ache for that loved one to come back, so you can hug them and just enjoy their presence.
